"Back pain and spasms East – MD / RN HELP! – ALL PLEASE READ?
I had back surgery a few years ago one of two herniated discs, I had problems on and off with my L4-L5 and L5-S1. Especially in L5-S1 (foraminal stenosis) collapse of the disc. I had two MRI scans, one before surgery and after surgery. Both show damage. I have also had steriod injections, without success, before and after surgery. Now I'm having pain (almost 24 hours) in central my back just to the right of my spine. It hurts to move, breathe, etc. I already called the neuro / spine dr. but surgery is tomorrow and I wanted some opinions … Not sure if the problems are related to my previous topics? Need some advice to hold me for until I get to see Dr. relating to previous past editions? What could be? What kind of doctor recommended? What I can do to keep on me, I have classes and work not I can jump. (I tried Flexiril last night, does not help).
It could be anything from a muscle strain to another Bulging Disc, but above. Problem with surgery is that you can membership form, a buildup of scar tissue. So if you can imagine the surgical scar was fused to a muscle, that could be causing the pain. The only person I know, Doc, Good Luck
