Should I have surgery in the neck? Help!?

Broad base disc protrusion extreme left side of almost 10X7mm in thecal sac compression C4-C3 and left foraminal stenosis. Cervival cord at this level is deformed but not compressed time.Pressure this effect is observed on the output of the left C4 nerve. Also I have a bulging @ C4-5 right right.Covers moderate stenosis and the effect of pressure on the right exit nerve.C5-6 I have a disc bulge in diffuse line half disc protrusion and arthritis uncovertebral right. There is also compressing the dural sac stenosis and mild to moderate right. Last @ C 6-C7 I have a lump of diffuse disk and a midline disc protrusion with affection out. Doctors want to get C3-4, as it has caused my cervical spinal deformity. I am not nor have I been in a bad time at any time. Some less important things. I have this fear. I'm in my early 40's and really do not want to open a can of worms. Any help would be large.

What made you seek medical attention? Is there or was there muscle weakness? You say there is little or no pain. Have you had a course of therapy physics? The report given is significant if there are signs that go along with what is in that report. In other words, if the compression in the report is not giving a problem, why deal with it. Talk to a neurologist about it. They are great in this because we do not own the surgery and if I recommend it to me I takes a little more weight. Having said that most surgeons today do not want to do spine surgery unless there is a clear reason for it. This is usually or muscle weakness and intractable pain. If there has been a physical therapy course that might not be a bad thing. Remember that the statistics for spine surgery in fifty percent. That's not likely that I, personally, I want to go in. Look for a second and if necessary by a third opinion. If they all agree, then I think the procedure was justified. Nothing will change what is in the report. arthritic changes are going to stay there and a Bulging Disc can be worked. The only thing that seems to be the issue that is on the spinal deformity. Again, if I would not have a second opinion from a doctor who was not in the area.
